Cost lever

Per-window installed price

A quote's total divided by its window count — the only number that compares apples-to-apples across bids.

What it means for you

Two “$20,000” quotes aren't equal if one covers 8 windows and the other 14. Normalize to per-window, pin the same spec on all bidders, and the wildly different totals finally line up.

Where you'll see it

You have to compute it — most quotes are a single project total.
