Reveal (siding)
The exposed face height of each siding course — how much of one board you see before the next laps over it.
What it means for you
A styling detail: a wider reveal reads more modern and covers a wall in fewer courses; a narrower reveal reads more traditional. It doesn't change performance, so choose by the look you want.
