Two panes of glass sealed with a gas gap between them — the NC standard for replacement windows.

What it means for you

For most NC homes a great double-pane already wins on energy. Buy triple by the room, mainly for noise, not because a chart says more is better.

Standard on virtually every quote; “triple-pane” is the upsell above it.
